Information on Cervical Cancer

Cervical cancer is cancer that starts in the cells of the cervix. The cervix is the lower, narrow end of the uterus (womb).  Anyone with a cervix can get cervical cancer. Nearly all cervical cancers are caused by an infection with certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV).

Cervical screening and the HPV vaccination are the best way to prevent cervical cancer.

Support group for women of South Asian heritage who have had a cancer diagnosis past or present.

The group meets on the second Wednesday of the month from 11.30 am – 1pm
The group is facilitated by women of South Asian heritage

Crafty Creatives Cancer Support Group

The Crafty Creatives is a group for those diagnosed with cancer to meet with others affected, in a friendly small group setting.

Offering weekly beginners art/craft workshops on a Tuesday evening  6 – 8pm
Each week a different craft – decoupage, glass painting and more.  It’s free to attend but booking is required as there is limited space.
